J878N CNCF Mongolia Project
Mongolia, Asia
In partnership with Christina Noble Children’s Foundation Australia
The Situation
- Despite Mongolia’s gradual national development over recent years, many vulnerable children and families continue to be left behind. Rapid urbanisation, poverty, unemployment, inflation, family breakdown, and limited access to social support have placed many families under severe pressure. In Ulaanbaatar’s ger districts and remote communities, children may face unsafe living conditions, limited access to healthcare and education, neglect, abuse, exploitation, or family separation.
- CNCF works to support vulnerable children, young people, and families in Mongolia through child protection, family strengthening, education, healthcare, rehabilitation, and psychosocial support. Our work focuses on keeping children safe, supporting families in crisis, and helping young people build more stable futures.
The Objectives
- Provide safe, supportive care for orphaned, abandoned, abused, and highly vulnerable children through CNCF’s Blue Skies Ger Village.
- Support vulnerable families experiencing homelessness, unsafe housing, or severe hardship through practical assistance, family strengthening, and emergency support.
- Improve access to healthcare, medicine, and essential support for disadvantaged children and families.
- Provide education scholarships and financial assistance for children and young people to continue school, university, college, or vocational training.
- Support vulnerable adolescents through rehabilitation, psychosocial care, mental health support, and reintegration services, particularly for young people in conflict with the law or at high risk of exploitation.
